JQF Community Development

The mission of John Quinton Foundation is to provide community-led and community-based educational, social and human services to the children and youth in San Domingo, Maryland. We strive to fully prepare young people to succeed and contribute to our community and society at large. Our goals include, but are not limited to, the following:

To provide assistance for the historical preservation of the community;
To provide financial assistance for higher education;
To support and expand the capacity of the Sunday School at Zion United Methodist Church (ZUMC); and
To design, develop and implement educational, social and human services to improve the quality of life of children, youth and their families.

John Quinton Foundation has undertaken several projects to support its community service program, each attempting to contribute toward the accomplishment of one of the stated goals of the foundation. Current projects are:
